Amanda is pleased to be able to use her over 15 years of experience to help her clients obtain their goals and objectives. While being a zealous advocate for her clients, Amanda works to find practical and cost-effective solutions for her clients that address their concerns and meet their needs as they go through the litigation process.
Amanda maintains a diverse practice with a particular focus on litigation involving corporate disputes, defamation, employment law, and collections.
When representing her clients, Amanda uses both the adversarial court process as well as informal negotiation and formal mediation. Amanda has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice (including on bankruptcy and CCAA matters), Federal Court, Provincial Offences Court, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Ontario Labour Board. Amanda has particular experience with Anton Piller Orders (civil search warrants) and judgment enforcement matters including contempt proceedings.
With a keen love of history, Amanda is also a member of the Hamilton Law Association’s history committee.
